Winsoft

Winsoft team has been directly involved in development projects since 1986. The limited partnership was eventually incorporated in 1990. Originally based in Ottawa Canada, Winsoft enjoyed strong and continuous growth since its inception. Our company, is constantly in high demand by new and repeat customers.

Between 1986 and 1990 our development activities were focused on development of imaging and graphics primitives for the emerging Winsoft operating system. During this time Winsoft was actively aligned with Microsoft and Winsoft was one of the 10 innovative software development companies, selected by Microsoft, during the June 1990 global launch of Windows 3.0.

Between 1990 and 1999 Winsoft was heavily involved in developing CAD (Computer Aided Design) and Engineering Design Systems Software for the US and Canadian Markets.

Between 1994 and 1998 a division in Winsoft was instrumental in developing state-of-the-art Medical and Dental imaging software along with hospital management software applications.

Between 1996 and 1998 Winsoft developed Winfund, a back office system for mutual fund dealers in Canada. In 1998 Winfund was spun off from Winsoft to become one of the leading Mutual Fund Dealer back office systems in Canada until it's acquisition by MRS (MackenzieFinancial) in 2000.

Between 2000 and 2009 Winsoft heavily invested in to design a large scale financial data processing platform targeting all facets of financial industry including Mutual Fund, Stock and Bond processing through clearing systems, and an Insurance Agency system. This resulted in the creation of WealthServ Insurance, WealthServ IDEX, and WealthServ Investments products.

In February 2005 Winsoft entered into an agreement with EDS-Solcorp where EDS-Solcorp was granted a multi year exclusive reseller agreement to market and sell the WealthServ Suite of products globally.

In 2009 WealthServ product suite was acquired by BlueSun Inc.
